Had an unused earthern pot in the house. It was put to a delightful use along with a mobile container with a plant.

After all, we got to REDUCE REUSE and RECYCLE.

Glorious pointsettia

I love pointsettias. I have been in love with them ever since setting my eyes on them in a book.
A dull looking plant most of the year, the leaves turn a glorious red in winter and its worth keeping them in your house just for these months. It is aptly called Euphorbia pulcherrima (Latin for red)
These are shade loving plants so avoid direct sunlight. Protected balconies are apt.

Finally found time to go and buy a few plants for the house. And the addition transforms the whole environment.
I chose few easy to maintain plants - Pointsettia, asparagus, alternanthera, tabaernaemontana...

Now I hope butterflies and birds come visiting.
